Kevin Pace:  Jazz bassist, recording artist, educator, performances with David “Fathead” Newman, DC Metro area.  Founding member of the DC Jazz Composers Collective, an incorporated, not-for-profit organization promoting original, improvised music.  Kevin’s debut album as a leader, First Step, was selected by Capitolbop Magazine as a top-ten CD release for 2010.  (www.kevinpace.com)

Brad Linde:  Jazz saxophonist, educator, co-ordinator Take Five performing arts series (includes jazz) at the University of Maryland. Since then Brad has appeared with his own group, the Brad Linde Ensemble, and with legendary jazz artists Lee Konitz, Freddie Redd, Butch Warren, and Ted Brown throughout DC and NYC at top jazz venues and the Chamber Music America Conference.  His debut album, Feeling That Way Now, was selected by Capitolbop Magazine as a top-ten CD release for 2010.  Brad was recently honored at the 27th Annual Washington, DC Mayor’s Arts Awards with an Outstanding Emerging Artist Award for his work with the Bohemian Caverns Jazz Orchestra, DC’s resident big band which he founded and directs.  (www.bradlinde.com)

Michael Capps:  Director of Bands at A.L. Standback Middle School, Hillsborough, NC where he received the teacher of the year award and started a jazz program–that now includes two big bands!  Ensemble performances at MENC Conferences and Michael has served as the Jazz Chair of the NC Music Educators Association.  (www.alsband.org/aboutUs.htm)

Mary Brozina:  Music Director, Lakes Region Summer Theater (summers, Meredith NH), Music Director Naples Dinner Theater (Naples, FL), Accompanist, Oklahoma City University, Music Director Lyric Theater and City Rep Theater (Oklahoma City), and Music Director University of Central Oklahoma Jazz Lab.  Performances for Governor of Oklahoma.

TJ Jackson:  Saxophone instructor, US Army School of Music, Norfolk, VA.  Member of USARE Band for hundreds of European performances.

Mac Campbell:  Operations Manager for The Music Center at Strathmore Hall (MD) where he organizes and schedules jazz concerts and helps promote jazz events like the East Coast Jazz Festival.

Cecelia Thompson:  Director of Projects for Action Greensboro (NC) where she promotes jazz performances and the non-profit organization management industry.

Kristen Robeson:  Choir Director, Henry E. Lackey High School in Charles County, MD.

Megan Kelley:  Former Band Director at Turrentine Middle School, Burlington, NC where she founded a new jazz program.

Jon Rahilly:  Completed masters at University of Oklahoma and is currently freelancing in jazz and classical circles and running his own private studio in Dayton, OH.  (www.jonrahilly.com)

Kevin Johnson:  Completing Masters in Music Education at Queens College (NY).
