Registering for ROTC through the Greater Greensboro Consortium

First steps to be completed at Elon:

  • Go to North Carolina A&T’s Class Scheduling portal Aggie Access to see available course sections.
    • Army ROTC classes are listed under Military Science
    • Air Force ROTC classes are listed under Aerospace Studies
  • Discuss your ROTC coursework and timetable with your academic advisor to make sure there are no time conflicts with your Elon coursework.
  • Submit Consortium/Interinstitutional Form. Questions may be directed to Janelle Papay, Assistant Registrar, about participating in the Greater Greensboro Consortium. Students will be asked to upload a completed Consortium Cross-Registration Form (PDF) to the online form. When approved by Elon’s Office of the Registrar, the PDF form is forwarded to NC A&T, and their Registrar’s office registers the student for the class(es). When registration at NC A&T is confirmed, the Office of the Registrar at Elon adds a “MSC placeholder” course to the student’s NC A&T registration.
    • Meet all academic policies and expectations at Elon and the Host Institution even if the academic calendar, deadlines, final exam times, etc., differ from Elon’s.  Students cannot use course work/obligations at one school to get out of course work/obligations at the other school.
    • Students must adhere to all academic policies, requirements, procedures, deadlines, class meeting times, and final exam times at both institutions. For North Carolina A&T’s academic calendar, click here
    • All coursework completed at NC A&T will be added to the student’s Elon academic record, which will impact the Elon GPA and credit hours for graduation.

Additional Information for Participation:

  • Students must be registered for the same number of hours or more at the home institution as they plan on being registered for at the host institution.
  • Consortium students must have a 2.0 cumulative GPA or higher at their HOME campus to participate.

Second step to be completed at NC A&T:

      • Pick up parking pass and student ID as directed by the Registrar’s Office when course registration is confirmed.
