Register for an accountability session

Accountability sessions encourage goal-setting, reduce procrastination, and can help you find a group of like-minded students who want to improve their study and learning habits.

What is an accountability session?
An accountability session is a

  • designated time and space for you to study or work on assignments while staying motivated and productive
  • weekly, 1.5-hour meetings where you can problem solve with peers, celebrate your progress, and hold each other accountable
  • a group led by tutor who will be available to give you advice on how to make progress on your STS 1100, STS 2120, or ECO 2300 assignments, point you toward resources, and share strategies to improve your study habits.
  • Please bring any necessary materials that will help you work on your assignments (laptop, class notes, textbook, etc.).

Students are expected to commit to weekly meetings or let the group leader know in advance if you will miss a meeting. If a student misses 3 group meetings they may be dropped from the group.

If you are selected to join a group, the group leader will reach out to you by email prior to the start of the group.
