Find the degree for you

Choosing a degree doesn’t mean leaving your other interests behind. You can add a second major or a minor, pursue research, compete on a team, study abroad, join an organization or play in the band. You’ll graduate with expertise in computer science or engineering and a range of experiences that reflects who you are and what you can contribute.

More than a degree

Find the engineering or computing major that fits your goals, then explore the courses, minors and experiences that can make it your own.

Experience changes how you think

Learn in classrooms, labs, research partnerships, project teams, student communities, where you intern or study abroad. In every setting, you'll apply what you know, make new discoveries and develop the judgment that comes from putting ideas into practice.

A new perspective can change the solution.

Saffie Hollingsworth ’27

Saffie Hollingsworth developed a life-simulation board game to help first-year students build the academic, social and emotional skills they need to navigate the transition to college. But she wanted to know whether a solution designed with one group of students in mind would work for others.

During study abroad experiences in Iceland and Spain, Saffie playtested the game with students, faculty and staff. Their feedback helped her identify cultural differences, challenge her assumptions and adapt the game for students whose experiences may look very different from her own.

The trip to Iceland was a wonderful experience to improve our research and model international research collaboration, but also to explore Iceland.
