Elon DPT is committed to admitting students through a holistic admissions review process. Our program seeks to build a class of students who represent a variety of backgrounds and experiences to develop dedicated and empathetic healthcare professionals. We are a competitive program and evaluate each application on its own merits. Admission decisions are based on all academic work (including undergraduate GPA and science GPA), GRE scores, letters of recommendation, demonstrated service and leadership ability, and feedback from the interview process. Motivation, maturity, interpersonal skills, knowledge of the profession, and the mission of the Elon DPT program are also considered.

Elon University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program offers an exceptional education at a competitive cost. Students benefit from generous merit-based scholarships, awarded for academic excellence, leadership, and professional promise. Students have the opportunity to fund their education through federal financial aid options, making the path to becoming a physical therapist accessible. For veteran and military families, Elon University participates in the Yellow Ribbon program and some students may be eligible for loan forgiveness programs upon graduation.
