By Students. For Students. Every Time.

Burst the Bubble programs are free, student-led, non-credit sessions where students who have a talent, interest, or skill share their knowledge with their peers. Typically a Burst the Bubble program meets three times – once a week – for an hour each time. Burst the Bubble programs are offered during Winter Term and are open to all students at Elon University.

Each fall students interested in leading programs submit proposals and if selected, will begin planning their programs. Program registration happens on a rolling, first-come, first-served basis with many programs filling up quickly.

Burst the Bubble programs do not include homework, tests, outside assignments or grades. There is no faculty or staff involvement in facilitating the programs. Programs range from active skill learning to discussion and lecture-based programs on a variety of topics.

Applications to LEAD a Program

If you would like to share your passion or skill with other students, the application to lead a Burst the Bubble program is available beginning the first Monday in October and due approximately 3 weeks later.  If your program is selected, you will be notified in early November.

Apply HERE!

Once the programs are selected, an email will be sent to all students (typically in mid-November) with the link to register to participate.  Some programs will fill quickly so be on the lookout and register early!
