Instructor: Jess McDonald
Wednesdays 12 – 1:15 pm

Are you lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, or queer (LGBTQ) and tired of people assuming you’re straight and/or gender normative?  Do you have a queer family member or friend and want to know more about LGBTQ issues?  Are you a straight ally who wants to speak out against discrimination and make Elon a more welcoming place?  “Bursting the Heteronormative Bubble” will offer a safe space for students to engage in an open dialogue about their experiences being LGBTQ or straight allies at Elon.  Nothing LGBTQ or allied is off-topic, and everyone is invited!  We’ll determine the contours of our guided discussions based on interest.  (Membership and topics discussed are confidential).
