Are you aware that one of the leading technology companies of the 21st century is in your backyard? Are you knowledgeable about Linux and open source? Did you know that Red Hat hosts one of the premier summer internship programs in the Triangle? And have you heard that Red Hat started a co-op program for engineering students in January 2005?

Find out more by taking the ‘Road to Red Hat.’ Monthly, Red Hat will host ‘Road to Red Hat’ events at its Centennial Campus headquarters. There will be PIZZA, guest speakers and Red Hat representatives on site. In addition, Red Hat will give away an open enrollment RHCE-track class seat to a lucky attendee.

It’s been said that Red Hat is the largest small company in the world. With more than 1100 Red Hatters across 26 offices worldwide, we rarely think of ourselves as small. Until you consider our competition. We stand among giants – competing and partnering with companies many times our size. Despite our relative size, our continued success is proof of the power of the open source model. We pride ourselves on collaboration, openness and the exponential value that comes from joining people of different perspectives to find the best way. Open source forms the foundation of our company’s culture because open source is changing the world. In our industry, it returns the balance of power to the customer. In our society, it exposes people to technology who might not otherwise have the opportunity.
