More than 40 murals were entered in the 12th-annual Residence Life mural competition.
First prize and $125 went to Virginia first floor and the residents of the Fine Arts Learning Community.
There was a tie for second place between Carolina third floor and Sloan third floor. Each floor received $60.
Third place was awarded to Danieley Center L 103, which received $50.
Honorable mentions were awarded to Virginia third floor, Chandler 202, Colclough 103 and Colclough 304.
Niki Turley, Colleen Newman, Phil Smith and Ernie White served as judges for the mural contest.
