Janet Myers and Cassandra Kircher published “Teaching Without License: Outsider Perspectives on First-Year Writing” in the Spring 2007 issue of TETYC, a journal dedicated to the teaching of writing. One reviewer wrote that the article’s “description of the authors’ experiences and the authors’ negotiations within writing programs will surely speak to many teachers of writing.”
