Ashley J. Holmes, lecturer in English, presented a Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) project at the Carnegie Academy’s SoTL Institute in Chicago, June 7-9. Holmes’ project explores the potential connections between Service-Learning and civic engagement, comparing several sections of College Writing courses.
