Centro La Comunidad is seeking full-time and part-time (20 hours a week) AmeriCorps members. AmeriCorps members will provide services to the community and our clients (interpretation, information and referral, problem resolution, etc.). In addition, they will help with program development and administrative tasks within the community center. This program offers great experience and leadership development.
Requirements:
*Bilingual (Spanish/English)
*Desire to work with immigrant communities
*Administrative/clerical/computer skills
Benefits:
*Full-time (35 hours a week): $11,100 annual stipend, health & child care benefits, and an educational scholarship of $4,725.
*Part-time (20 hours a week): $5,500 per year & $2,362 scholarship.
*Monthly human services and leadership trainings.
