Two poems by Kevin Boyle will appear in LITERARY TRAILS OF NORTH CAROLINA: THE PIEDMONT, published by UNC Press. One poem, a lament about living in Burlington, is called “Our Town”; the other, “The Lullaby of History,” is set in Bennett Place, where General Johnston surrendered to Sherman in 1865.
