LINCS Program – Possitive Attitude Youth Center

Positive Attitude Youth Center has been a partner with Elon University for over 6 years and is active in working with Elon’s volunteers and Academic Service-Learning classes.

PAYC is an afterschool program for low-income families and serves hundreds of families per year. PAYC tutors 55 students per day in reading and other course material, children or picked up from 8 different schools, Children at PAYC come from many backgrounds including: The Homeless Shelter, Abused Wives Home, and other social services.

Positive Attitude Youth Center is in need of a student volunteer coordinator to work with volunteers from Elon courses and other opportunities.
