Laura Roselle, a professor of political science, and Tom Nelson, an associate professor in the School of Communications, each presented papers Sept. 17-19, 2008, at the Conference on Media, War and Conflict Resolution at Bowling Green State University in Ohio.
Roselle’s paper was titled “Legitimizing Protracted Conflicts: Iraq & Chechnya.” Nelson’s paper was titled “British Colonialism as a Positive Influence: The American Mass Media.”
