Skube shared the stage with Marvin Hunt, a professor of English at N.C. State University and author of “Searching for Hamlet,” and moderator Frank Stasio, host of WUNC’s “The State of Things.” The three discussed the state of thinking and storytelling in the 21st century.

Other speakers at the gathering included screenwriter Will Rokos, an Academy Award nominee for “Monster’s Ball” and novelist G.D. Gearino (“What the Deaf-Mute Heard”).
