The Office of Sustainability is seeking an Education and Outreach Intern for the spring 2009 semester. The intern will be responsible for developing educational and interactive lessons on sustainability to be utilized in a peer-to-peer sustainability education program. Other duties will include promoting Powerless and Recyclemania and other sustainability programs and events.
A successful candidate will be responsible; creative; self motivated; knowledgeable on issues of sustainability; proficient with Windows XP, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.); and have strong communication, research and organizational skills.
This is a paid internship requiring 10-12 hours per week.
