The 4th annual MBA Tailgate Party & Football Game will be held Saturday, September 26 at Rhodes Stadium. The tailgate starts at 12 pm, with kick-off for the Elon vs. Georgia Southern game at 1:30 pm. Randy Gyllenhaal, a senior broadcast major, spoke live Sept. 8 with FOX News co-anchor Trace Gallagher about the reaction college students are having to the reemergence of the H1N1 virus, more commonly known as the "swine flu," as the fall semester begins.

BusinessWeek featured Elon's efforts to reach out to students' families as part of its Career Services programs. The magazine says, " ... It's hard to find a school that has more seamlessly capitalized on friends and family networks than Elon University in North Carolina..."

On September 11, British Member of Parliament Alistair Burt will visit Elon University School of Law, delivering a presentation titled, "Current UK - USA Legal and Political Relations during the rise of Globalization."
