Education seniors Chris Beeson, Heidi Hurrell and Christie Smith gave presentations with Assistant Professor Terry Tomasek at the North Carolina Science Teachers Association Conference at the Koury Convention Center in Greensboro, N.C., Nov. 19-20.
All three students presented the session “Using Wikis for Online Collaboration.” Heidi and Christie also presented an additional session “Science/Math Small Group Learning.” Elon education students are exhibiting leadership in the field of education by providing this type of service to the teaching profession. Educators from throughout North Carolina attended the conference.
