iMedia Students Blog about Winter Term Fly-in Experiences

Students in Elon's Interactive Media master's program are currently studying abroad as part of their Winter Term fly-in experience, and you can follow their progress by viewing their personal blogs.

This photo, taken by iMedia student Laura Bradford, shows Kenneth and his brother playing video games in their home outside of Colón, Panama. Kenneth, now 6-years-old, suffers from Osteogenesis Imperfecta and has already had 147 broken bones in his short lifetime. Bradford’s group is building a Web presence to promote awareness of OI in Panama.

The inaugural class has been broken up into four groups that are working in Costa Rica, Panama and London. Students will complete comprehensive Web-based products that will feature a variety multimedia content, including video, photography, Flash and writing. They will be away from campus for about two weeks before returning to finalize the projects. (Read more about the trips HERE.)
