Chess club starts back up Tuesday nights in Belk Library room 102 at 7pm beginning Feb. 2. Come for a half hour or stay for a couple hours! This semester, we will be traveling to a couple chess tournaments for those interested and we will also be implementing a semester-long chess club competition with cash prizes. Come to the club for details!
Every Tuesday night at 7:30pm, Aaron Peeks will be providing a chess lesson for beginners. The first two weeks of this semester, the lessons will consist of review lessons covering the basics of chess. So if you know nothing or very little about chess, come and learn some more about the game!
We provide boards, pieces, and even chess clocks for those who are cool enough.
