Paid summer leadership opportunity working with middle school students

Want to gain some leadership experience this summer? The Center for Leadership is looking for four to six dedicated Elon students to work with youth in the Alamance Youth Leadership Academy.

The academy looks to empower middle school students through the connections of civic engagement and leadership development in Alamance County. It will be held from Sunday, June 20, to Wednesday, June 23. One training session will be held on Saturday, June 19.

The job requires a weeklong commitment, but is worth your efforts. Leaders are paid for their work. You’ll help a group of 10-12 middle school students improve their leadership skills. As their mentor, you can truly make a difference.

Pick up an application in Moseley 224 or e-mail Eric Hale (ehale2@elon.edu) for an application or for more information.

Deadline to apply is April 9
