Ayesha Delpish, assistant professor and statistics program coordinator in the Department of Mathematics, was selected to serve a one-month residency at Educational Testing Service as a Visiting Scholar. Her appointment will be served at ETS's main campus in Princeton, N.J., this summer.
During her tenure, Delpish, whose Ph.D. is in statistics with a specialization in educational measurement and testing, will work with ETS testing experts on major issues in assessment with a focus on equity. In addition to writing items and providing statistical support for the evaluation of instruments, Delpish will comment on ETS’s strengths and provide recommendations for enhancing the fairness of ETS products.
