Elon University professors, administrators and alumni made regional and national news in recent weeks through their research and activities, both on and off campus. Elon's student-produced MBA blog, Elon MBA: A Program for Your Busy Life welcomes three new student bloggers. The blog tells the stories of Elon MBA students as they work toward their degree while balancing professional, family and community commitments.

In an effort to share relevant, career development information with students and alumni, Career Services has created the “Career Stories” interactive tool. The tool allows viewers to watch interviews of Elon alumni, parents and students discussing common career development issues such as choosing a major, participating in experiential activities, networking and answering difficult interview questions.

Jon Meacham, one of America's most esteemed journalists and a bestselling author, visited Elon University this week for the annual Baird Pulitzer Prize Lecture, and the former editor of Newsweek used his time on stage to share with his audience lessons gleaned from the life of the nation's seventh president.

Sang Nam, an assistant professor in the School of Communications, has been named the general secretary of the National Association for Korean Schools.
