Antonio Izzo, Yuko Miyamoto & Rick Palmer Present at the Lilly Conference on College & University Teaching

Biology professors Antonio Izzo and Yuko Miyamoto, and Rick Palmer, academic technology consultant with teaching and learning technologies (TLT), presented their year-and-a-half-long collaboration at the 2011 Lilly Conference on College & University Teaching in Greensboro, N.C., on February 4-6.

The presentation, “The Online Biology Cabinet: A New Model for Faculty Creation of Video Resources in Science Lab Instruction”, highlighted the collaboration between members of the Elon biology faculty and TLT instructional technologists to create four videos. These videos are used to introduce students to introductory biology labs, both equipment and procedures. TLT staff Joeleen Kennedy and JP Lavoie were also involved.
