Dan Evans delivers physics colloquium at Notre Dame

Dan Evans, an assistant professor of physics, delivered the colloquium at the Department of Physics at Notre Dame University on April 6, 2011.

The title of his colloquium was “The Chandra X-ray Observatory and Its Contribution to Studying the Energetics of Black Holes”.

Evans is an expert in the field of high-energy astrophysics, having published 50 articles and received more than $1 million in external funding for his research program.
