Former U.S. Treasurer to Headline Reagan Centennial Dinner – April 26

Former U.S. Treasurer Bay Buchanan will headline the Reagan Centennial Dinner held on campus on Tuesday, April 26, an event hosted by the Elon College Republicans in partnership with the Young America’s Foundation, Alamance Republican Women and the Alamance County GOP. 

This is the fourth year that the Elon College Republicans have hosted a dinner to honor Reagan.

A meet-and-greet will be held for students before the dinner at 5:15 in the Isabella Cannon Room in the Center for the Arts.  Any student with an ID is invited to attend.

Buchanan served as U.S. Treasurer under President Reagan. She has also served as adviser to her brother, Pat Buchanan, during each of his presidential bids and currently is a political analyst frequently seen on CBS’s Morning Show, as well as on CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News. She writes a regular column for Human Events Online; is the president of The American Cause, an educational foundation dedicated to advancing traditional conservative principles; and co-chairman of Team America, a PAC dedicated to opposing amnesty for illegal aliens.

Doors open at 6:00, dinner begins at 6:30. Tickets are $25 ($10 for students with ID). Table and event co-sponsorships available.
