From the Burlington Times-News (4/4/11): The chief sponsor of the Sunshine Amendment will now go to what he calls Plan C in an effort to make it more difficult for governments to close public meetings or exempt records from public inspection.

Associate Professor of Theatre Kevin Otos directs the American premier of Pornography, a play written in 2005 by Simon Stephens of the United Kingdom that deals with the bombs that were detonated in the London transportation system on July 7, a day after the city was named host for the 2012 Olympics.

Notable in March and April was media coverage by the Associated Press of the Elon University Poll, faculty scholarship cited by the Huffington Post and mention of Elon University's sustainability efforts by USA Today.

Professor of political science Laura Roselle was featured April 21 in a column in the Huffington Post about the way Libyan officials chose to present their vision for the future of their country.
