Elon alumnus Andrew Oliver '11 recent received the Senior Achievement Award for the Southeast Province of Mu Phi Epsilon. Mu Phi Epsilon is an international professional music fraternity, and was chartered on campus in November 2008. It promotes the ideals of music,friendship and harmony.
The Senior Achievement Award recognizes a senior who has given excellent service to their chapter, as well as one who has excelled in their personal life. Oliver was nominated in the spring of 2011, and received the award at Mu Phi Epsilon’s International Convention this summer, which took place in Rochester, NY.
The award is only given to one senior from each province. Elon’s chapter belongs to the Southeast Province, which includes North Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi and Louisiana. Oliver was chosen from all of the chapters in these states as the one who best represented achievement and excellence, and the Zeta Zeta Chapter is very proud to have him as an alumni and friend.
