“Hands Off” student juried art exhibition submissions accepted Nov. 9-11

ART 380, Professional Practices in Art, is organizing and sponsoring a student-juried art show titled “Hands Off,” which will run from Nov. 21 to Feb. 1 in the Isabella Canon Room in the Center for the Arts. This exhibition will consider artwork, created for class or otherwise, by enrolled undergraduate Elon students. Students of all majors are encouraged to participate.

You can submit artwork ready for display in the lobby of Arts West at the following times:

Wednesday, Nov. 9, 12 – 2 p.m.

Thursday, Nov. 10, 12 – 2 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 11, 12 – 4 p.m.

All entrants will be required to pay a $5 fee for the submission of up to three pieces (not $5 each). A juror will select the pieces to be displayed in the show and award a cash prize to one. On the day of the reception, viewers will vote on their favorite piece, which will also be awarded a monetary prize. Recognition will be displayed next to the winning pieces.
