Fiction writer Jennifer Davis, whose work is funny and weird and cool and beautiful, will be reading Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the Isabella Cannon Room (in the Cntr for Perf Arts).
Her first collection of stories, Her Kind of Want, won the Iowa Short Fiction award in 2002, and her second collection, Our Former Lives in Art, was published to critical acclaim by Random House in 2007. All of this to say: if you like stories about strange people doing weird things in beautiful, funny ways, you should come spend an hour on Wednesday night listening to Jennifer Davis read to you.
