Elon was one of eight schools chosen out of 150 to present a 30-minute session at this year’s national conference.

The session was developed and presented by Elon PRSSA President Liz Moy, Vice President Grace Krafte and Secretary Heather Harder. The presentation, titled “Dialogue across the Divide,” focused on helping chapter executive boards communicate more effectively with their members, particularly through the strategic use of social media.

The students and faculty adviser Barbara Miller attended the national conference Oct. 14-18 at the Renaissance SeaWorld in Orlando, Fla.

PRSSA, one of the nation’s largest pre-professional organizations, provides networking, educational and professional development opportunities to future practitioners. The organization includes 10,000 students and more than 300 chapters. For more information about Elon’s PRSSA chapter, visit www.elonprssa.com.
