Erin McEvoy '06, manager of the Boston Bruins Foundation, has been named the association/nonprofit planner of the year by BizBash Media - Boston in its annual Readers' Choice Awards.
McEvoy joined the Bruins Foundation in 2008 as a coordinator, combining her passion for sports and professional interest in nonprofit work. Her responsibilities included leading the foundation’s annual grant process, guiding all fundraising initiatives and fostering relationships with children’s charities in the Boston area.
In 2010, the Bruins promoted McEvoy to foundation manager, where she continues to ably lead the foundation to new levels of success and community mpact. Outside of work, McEvoy volunteers with local charities and for the past three years has served on the leadership committee and friends council for the Boston Boys and Girls Club.
