Physics major wins “Best Undergraduate Paper” award

Physics and computer science major, Rob Argue, recently won "Best Undergraduate Paper" at a sectional meeting of the American Association of Physics Teachers.

In his talk, “Monte-Carlo Simulation to Optimize Scintillator Systems,” he described research done during two summer internships at the U.S. Army Research Laboratory. Argue will receive his certificate and cash prize at the next sectional meeting of the AAPT.
