Early Childhood program to wrap books for local charity – Dec. 1

Students in Elon University’s new Early Childhood Education program will be wrapping books Dec. 1 at Local Yogurt in support of a community book drive to benefit the Alamance Partnership for Children.

Barnes & Noble has been gathering books for APC, and both the retailer and the charity group need assistance wrapping the items for distribution to local children.

Anyone interested in Early Childhood is encouraged to visit Local Yogurt to meet current majors, faculty and each other while doing something to help the community.

What: Book-Wrapping Party
Where: Local Yogurt (near The Root & Subway, next to the railroad tracks)
When: Thursday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m.
