What: Impact Day: a Day of Service
When: March 3, 2012 at 9 a.m.
Where: Harden Club House
On March 3, 2012 the Omicron Iota Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority will be hosting “Impact Day: A Day of Service.” This event will be an opportunity for you or your organization to gain several service hours per individual. This day will entail a morning of service at one of our 22 service sites.
In the past, many of you have participated in Service Day, an event hosted by the Kernodle Center for Service Learning and Community Engagement. The center decided to no longer host this program, however, we would like to continue this tradition as so many of our organizations are focused or participate in service.
This event will begin with an opening session at 9 a.m. at Harden Clubhouse, at which you will be assigned a location. Transportation will be provided for those groups that need it. We would like for every organization to send at least two to three representatives to make this a successful event for not only our organization but for our community partners.
