Matthew Masten ’09 and Steven Baker ’09 have recently partnered to create Bennu Productions, and through their association with Tony Award-winning producer Darren Bagert/INFINITY Stages, they have a first offer deal with INFINITY Stages’ upcoming productions on Broadway and in London’s West End.
This past fall, Bennu Productions was an investing member of the ART/Boston out-of-town production of The Gershwins’ “Porgy & Bess” featuring Audra McDonald and Norm Lewis, which is now playing to audiences on Broadway at the Richard Rogers Theater.
Bennu will make its official Broadway producing debut with Gore Vidal’s “The Best Man” featuring an all-star cast including James Earl Jones, Angela Lansbury, John Larroquette, Candice Bergen, Eric McCormack, & Michael McKean, with performances beginning March 6.
