Taylor’s film, titled “Boone,” focuses on three goat farmers in southern Oregon, who are “transformed by the physical and emotional grit of living a life of self-reliance … an exploration of what is possible when personal beliefs are aligned with action,” according to a description of the film. Taylor is the producer/assistant director of “Boone.” She worked on the project with Christopher LaMarca.

Taylor is an award-winning documentarian, who was the assistant editor for the Academy Award-winning The Empowerment Project. She worked on Project Pericles documentaries while a student at Elon.

The documentary lab is offered by Film Independent, a non-profit arts organization that also produces the Spirit Awards and the Los Angeles Film Festival.
