Jessica Gisclair, department chair and associate professor in the School of Communications, presented a workshop titled “Finding a Work/Life Balance” to the International Association of Business Communicators Aug. 23 in Lynchburg, Va.
The workshop teaches how to identify transferable skills from your personal life to your role in the workplace, to recognize obstacles to your work and personal life connection and to develop a plan to actualize a balanced life.
