Just a quick note to let you know that applications are now being accepted for Editor-in-Chief of Colonnades, the Literary and Art Magazine of Elon University. If you are at all interested in this fact, here is what you need to know:
Qualifications for Editor-in-Chief:
- At least two Creative Writing courses beyond ENG213, Intro to CRW (or the equivalent at another school).
- Previous relevant experience either with Colonnades or another college-level or professional literary magazine.
Applicants should submit a letter detailing qualifications and vision for the magazine. Strong organizational skills are crucial for this position, as is a refined artistic vision; therefore, the letter should also address the applicant’s ability to recruit and manage a vibrant, diverse staff of editors and readers.
