Every year the English department sponsors poetry, fiction and nonfiction writing contests. Fall is the time for the Frederick Hartmann Poetry Contest–in fact, the contest is happening very soon.
Please submit 1-2 typed poems to Kevin Boyle (CB 2338 or 203 Whitley–slide it under my door) by this Friday, the 5th, at 3:00 PM. Please put your name on the poem.
Van Jordan, our visiting writer and final poetry judge, will announce the winners at his reading on Tuesday, October 9th, at 7:30 in Yeager (Fine Arts Building).
