About Nelly’s Echo
Nelly’s Echo is neither a band nor a solo musician, but a concept of the musical experience associated with its creator, Nelson. After self-releasing two successful albums, performing at over 100 different colleges in the past year and entertaining the troops in Cuba, a new album will be released later in 2012. Relying on lessons learned from his childhood in Africa and his everyday experiences telling his story through performance, Nelsons’ music and live show have been compared to the likes of Jason Mraz or John Mayer. And while he’s taken great pride in sharing the stage with the likes of Trombone Shorty, Travie McCoy & Sean Kingston.
