Education students help children with reading and science lessons.
The “It Takes a Village” program was featured in a Times-News article about how struggling readers are also getting science lessons in an effort to improve literacy.
The article also explains how the number of participants is increasing and in order to accommodate that change, tutoring sessions are being offered in several locations.
