Sponsored by the Doherty Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, this challenge tasks student teams to address social problems and develop entrepreneurial ventures.
Students from different disciplines will first learn the process of identifying problems. After teams identify a problem of interest, they will conduct field research to validate the problem. Teams will then work together to develop a solution. During the culminating event on Oct. 17, teams will showcase solutions during a seven-minute presentation with university leaders, alumni and students. Judges will measure potential impact and prizes will be announced.
