Tech Talks @2 – Moodle Choice Activity

October 15 2:00 - 2:30 p.m. Virtual Meeting

Do you wish you could gather quick feedback from your students about how your course is going?  Would it be convenient to have a way for students to self-enroll in groups or pick assignment topics in Moodle?  The Moodle Choice activity can do all of those things and many more. It may be used as a quick poll to stimulate thinking about a topic, to quickly test students’ understanding or to facilitate student decision-making, for example allowing students to vote on a direction for the course. The Choice activity enables the instructor to ask a single question with multiple answer from which students can select. Choice results may be published after students have answered, after a certain date, or not at all. The results from the Choice activity may be published with student names or anonymously.

During this Tech Talk @2, we will look at how to create a Choice activity and some of the different ways to use it in your Moodle course.
