Good morning on this beautiful Valentine’s Day.
The weather is warming and conditions are improving; however, some roads and pathways continue to be slick. In an abundance of caution to ensure safety, the university is closed for Friday, February 14, 2014.
Elon University main campus and law school CLOSED today, Friday, Feb. 14.
Classes are canceled and all university offices are closed today, except those noted below.
- The musical, 1776, will be performed tonight in McCrary Theater at 7:30 p.m., as scheduled.
- Previously scheduled 1:00 and 2:00 campus tours will take place as scheduled; previously canceled 9:00 and 10:00 campus tours, will not occur.
- Admissions information sessions will be held as scheduled at 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 and 2:00 p.m.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy Education program interviews, scheduled to begin at 11:45 a.m., will continue as scheduled

MOSELEY CENTER: 9:00 a.m. – 10 p.m. (mail room opens at 10 a.m; 8 am to 4 pm Saturday)
CAMPUS RECREATION: 8:00 a.m. to 8 p.m.
HEALTH SERVICES: 10:00 a.m. to 3 p.m.
BELK LIBRARY: 10:00 a.m. to 8 p.m.
DINING SERVICES
- Lakeside Dining Hall: Continental breakfast from 9:30-11:30 Then continuing with regular Friday hours and service
- Colonnades Dining Hall Continental breakfast from 9:30-11:30 Then continuing with regular hours.
- McEwen Dining Hall Closed. Normal hours beginning Monday.
- Varsity closed
- Acorn 8:00 am, continuing with normal hours
- Chick-fil-A 11:30 a.m., then normal hours
- Fountain Market Open at 9:30, continuing with normal hours.
- Qdoba Normal hours begin again on Monday.
- Winter Garden 10:30 a.m., with normal hours continuing
The Danieley Tram will run 10 am to 7 p.m. Shuttles will not run, except for the university drive line which will run from 4 pm to 10 p.m. .
