Top sales students recognized during leadership dinner

The annual dinner celebrated the achievements of professional sales students.

The Chandler Family Professional Sales Center recognized top sales students during the Elon Sales Leadership dinner on May 1.

The dinner celebrated the achievements of Elon’s sales program and its students, which included being named a Top Sales Program by the Sales Education Foundation and having the Elon Sales Team finish as a finalist for the fourth consecutive year at the Russ Berrie Institute National Sales Challenge.

Remarks were made by Michael Rodriguez, director of the Chandler Family Center, and Raghu Tadepalli, dean of the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business.

The top two teams of the Modern Selling Project sponsored by Oracle were announced. The case study competition tested students’ skills in solving a client’s problem utilizing customer relationship management solutions.

This award is presented to a senior majoring in marketing or minoring in professional sales who has shown leadership in the sales program, has the potential of impacting an organization and has demonstrated an overall positive attitude in supporting their fellow sales students. 

 

Rising Phoenix Scholarship
Julia Denick
This award was established by Philip Clark.  It is given to a rising senior who is focused on pursuing a career in sales, has excelled in the classroom and shown a passion for sales education.
