Orientation for chairs of academic departments beginning their Writing Excellent Initiative efforts this year. A quick overview of the QEP requirements for SACS and an extended introduction to the many resources available to departments, including grants. Departments may suggest that additional resources be created, and they may explore ways to share their progress and help one another. This is the only required meeting of all departments this year.
