Administrative Professionals Series

An Administrative Professionals series is being sponsored by The Office of Leadership & Professional Development in collaboration with Technology.

Please save these dates: January 21, February 19, and March 19 from 12:00 – 1:15 p.m.

This series will focus on a variety of topics throughout the spring semester to help keep you up-to-date with the latest campus and departmental changes. It will also provide you an opportunity network and share current challenges and questions with your colleagues who may offer solutions. Please mark your calendars and make plans to join us for this series. If you need office coverage during these sessions, consider requesting a PACE student. Technology Updates, January 21, 12:00 – 1:15 p.m., Lakeside  

“Technology changes very quickly and it’s important that we’re all up-to-date. Join staff from as we share some updates on the print management system and Ricoh copier/printers as well as showing you how to create guest wireless accounts for campus visitors. We will also spend time brainstorming future topics for the spring.”  A buffet lunch will be provided for those who register.

Microsoft Outlook and Lync, February 19, 12:00 – 1:15 p.m., Oaks 212

The lunch and learn session will cover using Microsoft Outlook and Lync in your day-to-day workflow. We’ll share tips for processing email, viewing multiple calendars, and scheduling meetings in Outlook that will save you time every day. We’ll also share how using Lync can cut down on the number of emails you send and receive each day. A buffet lunch will be provided for those who register

Ellucian Colleague, March 19, 12:00 – 1:15 p.m., Location TBD

Our Administrative Professionals series continues on March 19, at 12:00 p.m.  Heather Hutchings from Applications Technologies will cover Ellucian Colleague. Knowing that Colleague can be used in so many different ways, hearing from you about what you’d like to learn will help us plan our time together.
