Yuko Miyamoto and Tonya Train attend the Lilly International Spring Conference

The two faculty members in the Department of Biology attended the Lilly International Spring Conference held May 28 - 29, 2015, in Bethesda, Maryland.

The conference was “Evidence-Based Teaching and Learning,” and the presentation was on “The Effect of Seminars on Student Confidence in Science Communication.” 

The work was supported by biology department course releases, and conference travel supported through the Center for the Advancement of Teaching & Learning and the College of Arts & Science Dean’s Professional Development Funds.
